Black-Capped Chickadee - Mixed Media Bird Sculpture - PRE-ORDER
The original sculpture has been sold, but I can make another one. This is a pre-order. Please allow at least 4-7 weeks for me to make it. Since this is an handmade piece of art, each one will be unique and won’t be exactly identical, but very close to what I originally made.
I made this little Black-Capped Chickadee painstakingly by hand. I used sheep's wool, wire for structure, polymer clay beak and glass for the eyes.
It is approximately 5.5 inches / 14 cm long and 3.75 inches / 9.5 cm tall

I don't send out many Christmas Cards anymore - but I do have a couple people in other countries I send to - and I wanted a card that had a Canadian theme. I really liked a couple of the cards, but chose the one with the animals on it. When I received the cards - I also received a hand-written note from the artist. That meant a lot to me.
